Desire

In the solo exhibition "Desire," the gallery is transformed into a high-intensity environment where emotion takes physical form. Bathed in a striking crimson palette, the space radiates a raw, visceral energy that mirrors the depth of the human psyche.

The show centers on bold, organic wall installations and intricate dark sculptures perched atop geometric red pedestals. Through this immersive use of color and texture, "Desire" invites viewers to confront the complex, often overwhelming sensations of longing and internal drive.

Open studio

During the residency at Kett Gallery in Tartu, the artist produced a series of monumental sculptures using a blend of styrofoam, gypsum, and wood. The space remained open to the public, offering visitors a rare, behind-the-scenes look at the raw physical labor and artistry involved in bringing these massive works to life.

Pony Island

Pony Island by Roberts Bāliņš explores the deep connection between memory, identity, and the body. Drawing on scientific insights about cellular renewal, the exhibition reflects on how we continually become new versions of ourselves. Using simple materials and forms, Bāliņš creates an emotional narrative that bridges art and science in the search for self-understanding.

Small Giants

The exhibition “Small Giants” depicts the cycle of life. It meanders forward - rising and falling. It has neither beginning nor end.

One or Two

The works in the exhibition aim to explore the relationship between two individuals. At what point in a relationship do two people become one whole? After that point, can this relationship be viewed as the interaction of two elements, or is it already a new formation?

Personalities

“Personalities” brings together a series of sculptural works that explore the essence of humanity. Each piece offers a unique insight into human nature, shaped by specific situations that held personal significance at the time of creation. Drawing on traditional sculptural techniques and technical mastery, these works engage with contemporary issues, resulting in sculptures that resonate with emotional depth and intensity.
